Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for process optimization and hands-on innovation? Join our growing Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where you'll take the lead in driving efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across our production operations.
What You'll Do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you'll play a key role in enhancing our manufacturing processes, leading cross-functional projects, and mentoring junior team members. You'll collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Sales, and R&D teams to ensure our systems are running efficiently and effectively, from product launch through scale-up.
Your Impact Will Include:
Process Optimization & Design for Manufacturing: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and mistake-proofing tools to design scalable, efficient manufacturing systems from the ground up.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Be the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving complex process and equipment issues using data-driven methods.
Project Leadership: Drive R&D and process improvement initiatives from concept to implementation, including managing project timelines and recommending capital investments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Quality, and Production teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement efforts.
Tooling & Equipment Management: Own the optimization and integration of manufacturing equipment and tooling to enhance production outcomes.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or related field
2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Proficiency in CAD and 2D drawing tools
Strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to lead projects independently
Preferred:
Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing systems
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and statistical process control tools
Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher)
Previous mentoring or leadership experience
