CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer - Full-Time Position
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for programming, setting up, and running both low and high-volume production jobs with a high level of precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes for both short-run and long-run production.
Operate CNC Swiss Lathes; experience with Okuma machines is a plus.
Utilize Mastercam software for programming with a high degree of proficiency.
Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Use precision measuring instruments and gages to ensure parts meet stringent tolerance requirements.
Adhere to all quality policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
Handle deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
Strong experience with CNC Swiss Lathes; Okuma knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in Mastercam is required.
Formal education in CNC machining or a related technical field is preferred.
Excellent blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
