In this role, you will:
Serve as an expert advisor to middle market private equity firms ("PE firms" or "Financial Sponsors") across the United States, with a focus on providing the full suite of commercial and investment banking products and services with an emphasis on debt and equity capital raising and M&A solutions
Initiate and maintain relationships with key commercial and investment banking partners across the Wells Fargo platform
Work closely with senior and junior colleagues across numerous PE firms to identify opportunities to provide capital raising and advisory solutions to their respective portfolio companies with a heavy emphasis on sell-side M&A assignments, portfolio company monetization, leverage financing activities, and related solutions
Strategically lead the delivery of the full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to Financial Sponsors
Meet the most complex and significant needs across multiple areas of the enterprise that may require an in-depth evaluation, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions; may coordinate highly complex activities and resolutions
Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Financial Sponsors strategies that significantly influence Wells Fargo's business and financial operations
Strategically lead at all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives, and represent the company externally; serve as an expert advisor to leadership, represent the company externally as an expert and act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues
Review, understand and offer the full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial and investment banking clients to meet the most complex needs that may require an in-depth evaluation, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, by keeping information current in relevant systems such as Customer Relationship Management systems
Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through your existing network
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Commercial and investment banking account relationship management experience within the Financial Sponsor segment
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending, treasury management, and investment banking
Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 79 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Completion of formal credit training program
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $207,900.00 - $431,900.00 Benefits
