Emergency Nursing Services
A.W. Beattie Career Center is seeking a qualified individual to assist us with student emergency health needs beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. This 195-day position is part-time, thirty-five (35) hours per week on a Monday through Friday schedule with PTO, disability, and life insurance.
The selected individual must be certified as an LPN or RN with experience engaging with high school students (preferred). The selected individual will assist with students across the campus to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. The selected candidate will be part of the Student Assistance and Threat Assessment Teams. This position dispenses student prescription medication per physician’s instructions and assists with providing staff members with professional development activities related to classroom medical emergencies.
This position requires solid communication, written and computer skills to positively engage with students, families, consortium school districts, and emergency services personnel.
