Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated with minimum 1 years of Medical Biller/ Collections to join our healthcare team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately processing patient data, preparing invoices, submitting claims to insurance companies, and following up on outstanding payments. Key Responsibilities:

• Submit electronic and paper claims accurately and in a timely manner to insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and patients.


• Follow up on unpaid claims, investigate denials, and prepare appeals when necessary.


• Conduct patient billing and manage account balances, including creating and sending statements.


• Perform collection calls and manage payment plans for outstanding patient balances.


• Post insurance and patient payments, including adjustments and denials.


• Review patient charts and medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.


• Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations when necessary.


• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and industry billing standards.


• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or Medical Billing Certification preferred.


• Minimum 1 years of experience in medical billing and collections in a healthcare setting.


• Proficient in medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, Office Ally, Epic, or similar).


• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, claim denials, and reimbursement processes.


• Familiar with federal and state billing regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.


• Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities.
