Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Consumer Lending Shared Services (CLSS). The CLSS team is responsible for delivering common services across the Consumer Lending organization. CLSS does that by leading cross-business initiatives that enhance customer experiences, strengthen risk management, and increase our overall efficiency across the Consumer Lending group. This individual contributor will be responsible for supporting the Consumer Lending Business Continuity & Resiliency Planning program that is forward looking, consistent, customer focused while at the same time required to meet corporate program and regulatory requirements. The candidate will own, manage, and execute front line Business Continuity & Resiliency Planning Risk Program activities, engaging, supporting, collaborating and/or coordinating with partners across the enterprise to ensure Business Continuity Planning requirements are understood and appropriately implemented within Consumer Lending, mitigating related risks. The candidate will collaborate with key Enterprise partners across Wells Fargo and will have exposure to senior risk and business leadership.

In this role, you will:
  • Execute Incident Management by timely monitoring and distribution of notifications, logical determination of incident applicability, raising internal notifications for enterprise awareness, active participation in enterprise incident activities, and support with business incident responses
  • Information reporting to Leadership as applicable based on incident impacts to plans/functions including technology, location, employee impacts
  • Provide Incident Management expertise, lead through influence, and drive execution across Consumer Lending lines of business
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Assist the Technology Lead by providing significant contributions to the preparation and execution of enterprise resiliency exercises and initiatives
  • Communicate with Business Continuity & Resiliency community to keep partners aware of Incident Management and enterprise exercise protocols
  • Maintain CL-specific resiliency playbooks, control procedures, and internal job aids
  • Maintain emergency notification plans and distribution lists
  • Participate in Safety & Physical Security efforts
  • Assist with Audit requests when applicable including input towards and coordination of Audit responses
  • Ensure CL line of business consistently interprets and executes all Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning Policies, Standards and Procedures, provide expert risk guidance to CL lines of business, and provide insightful feedback to the Enterprise Business Continuity & Resiliency Program regarding potential changes or enhancements to the Enterprise program
  • Perform risk Identification and analysis. Work with key partners and tools to identify trends, provide risk-based recommendations and associated action plans to effectively mitigate the root causes of Business Continuity Planning issues. Leverage organizational knowledge, WF risk culture, systems, processes and applicable policies to identify potential problems and opportunities and implement effective, consistent and sustainable solutions
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices and communication. Lead meetings with CL Business and Independent Risk Management Leaders to discuss program strategies, issues, mitigating controls, and cost-effective solutions using a risk-based approach
  • Develop relationships and collaborate across multiple organizations, identify and share best practices with business partners across the Wells Fargo Enterprise and CL business units
  • Perform monitoring and reporting (including Key Risk Indicators and issues), timely escalations and notifications
  • Be a SME associated with Enterprise BCP policies, guidebooks, BCP methodology etc. and assist with the creation and review of training and/or job aid materials for the BCP Community.
  • Assist with training opportunities to support the HR BCP Community, as appropriate.
  • Assist with other BCP-related special projects as required
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Risk and/or related risk experience; subject matter expert in Business Continuity Planning
  • Experience managing processes and implementation strategies to support business continuity and contingency plans
  • Knowledge and functionality of Operation Resiliency System (ORS)
  • Successful track record providing advice and counsel to management on significant initiatives to improve risk management and internal controls
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) large-scale change and influence people at all levels of the organization
  • Experience translating and presenting complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas, ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Experience taking initiative and working independently with minimal supervision in a structured and change driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility and adaptability are important
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $206,100.00
