The Aseptic Processing Specialist is responsible for executing vaccine component preparation in a sterile clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques in compliance with USDA regulations. This role ensures strict adherence to aseptic techniques, supports training and troubleshooting efforts, and contributes to continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:
Perform aseptic processing of vaccine components following SOPs and USDA regulations.
Accurately complete and review in-process documentation and maintain technical data.
Assist in training and mentoring team members on aseptic techniques and cleanroom practices.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions.
Support EHS initiatives and promote a safe work environment.
Contribute to site projects, including deviation handling and change control processes.
Escalate production flow disruptions and propose solutions for improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Biology or related field preferred.
One year or more of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
Background in science or aseptic processing desirable.
Knowledge of clean room operations, aseptic techniques, and basic Lean Manufacturing principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems; capable of basic math and equipment troubleshooting.
