Welbilt's state-of-the-art Customer Experience Center in Coppell, Texas serves as a hub for showcasing equipment, hosting clients, and supporting training and demonstrations. We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Facility Manager to maintain the functionality, safety, and appearance of this critical space.
Position Summary:
As the Facility Manager, you will oversee the daily mechanical functions, maintenance, and logistics of our Customer Experience Center. This position plays a key role in supporting product demos, events, and internal team operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with facility management experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate a forklift when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility, including showrooms, demo kitchens, test kitchens, meeting spaces, and warehouse areas.
Coordinate general repairs, HVAC maintenance, cleaning services, lighting, plumbing, and other essential systems.
Maintain facility readiness for client visits, product demonstrations, and corporate events.
Operate a forklift to assist with receiving, moving, and storing equipment and supplies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility alarm systems, including monitoring alerts, coordinating responses, and managing vendor communication.
Oversee timely troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure all equipment and machinery is in safe working order. Quickly address work orders, especially relating to safety concerns.
Maintain and manage an inventory of spare parts to ensure critical equipment availability.
Oversee vendors and contractors, ensuring all work is completed to company standards and within compliance guidelines.
Manage facility-related budgets and inventory for supplies, tools, and materials.
Support logistical needs for events and demonstrations, including setup and teardown.
Ensure facility complies with OSHA and other local safety standards.
Respond to facility-related emergencies during and after business hours if needed.
Implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
5+ years of facility management or operations experience, preferably in a showroom, training center, or customer-facing environment
Maintenance experience is strongly preferred
Forklift certified is required
Strong knowledge of facility systems and maintenance best practices
Excellent communication and vendor management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Prior experience with ERP systems is preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Track and analyze maintenance expenses and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations and compliance (OSHA, EPA, ADA)
Familiarity with audio-visual setups, kitchen utility systems, or foodservice equipment
Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail, ensuring the facility is consistently maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness.

This position requires regular physical activity, including walking, lifting up to 50lbs, and occasional use of a forklift.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Occasional early mornings, evenings, extended shifts or weekend hours may be required to support events or facility needs.
