This is a senior position supporting the Air Force's 688th Cyberspace Wing's Cyberspace Operations and Support missions. Provide leadership in executing tasks assigned to team and educate/mentor contractor/military/civilian teammates as needed.

The Vulnerability Analysis team provides support to the Vulnerability Assessment & Remediation effort throughout the enterprise by performing analysis of scans from Government-provided tools (like ACAS) to augment the vulnerability management mission. Works with units Air Force wide and various network operations functional areas to advise them on vulnerability remediation requirements and methods. Utilizes the Air Force's Big Data Platform tools to support bases and units undergoing Cyber Operational Risk Assessments (CORA).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW

• Collect, analyze, and report on AFIN vulnerability scan data; AFIN anti-virus (End Point Protection) data; AFIN software patching data; and AFIN vulnerability management information.

• Strong data management skills; ability to audit, format, model and analyze large data sets.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills.

• Problem Solving: Identify problems and can articulate solutions.

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (leadership briefings).

• Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to technicians on the use of systems and/or applications.

• Use of scripting and reporting tools to collect and present information in various report formats.

• Conduct analysis for network security compliance in accordance with DISA STIGs.

• Experienced with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).

• Complete supervisory and administrative tasks as required.

• Complete other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) +5 years of experience, or 8+ years of related experience

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must have excellent critical thinking skills

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of ACAS scanning and remediation process in a Windows Server Enterprise Environment.

• Experience creating scripts in Python and/or PowerShell.

• Experience with generating reports and creating dashboards for a Big Data Platform.

• Experience assessing and providing technical guidance for security directives and patches in support of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) Program.

Certifications

Required

• IAT II - Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP, CND, CCNA-Security, or higher

Security Clearance

Required  

• Must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired

• Active Top Secret Clearance  with SCI eligibility

Other (Travel, Work Environment, Administrative Notes, etc.)

• May travel occasionally.
