K&K Inc. project superintendents are solely responsible for management of all on-site activities as they relate to project execution. Superintendents staff projects to align with project execution plans and manage onsite productivity to meet or beat the project schedule and budget. They are responsible for coordinating material and consumable deliveries, rental equipment, and subcontractors. Superintendents deliver the necessary project controls and daily reports to effectively track phase productivity and schedule progress.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhering to and enforcing K&K Inc. safety policies and creating the desired safety culture on project sites
Execute projects on time and on budget
Employ labor and equipment in line with the project execution plan
Effectively employ project controls
Proactive project planning and execution
Understand project schedules and phase-specific productivity necessary to achieve milestones
Coordinate various crews, subcontractors and other resources effectively
Communicate with project managers to facility effective schedule management and progress tracking
Manage client partnerships
Effectively communicate with clients through required reports and meetings to avoid surprises
Understand and execute client deliverables
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain working knowledge of applicable electric codes, including NEC and NFPA, and construction methodologies related to communications, controls and low-voltage systems (medium- and high-voltage experience desirable, but not required)
Adhering to and enforcing K&K Inc. policies and procedures
Develop a rapport with clients and client representatives, including third-party inspection
Communicate back to internal leaders/managers (NO SURPRISES)
Schedules subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely job completion

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works directly on the project site throughout construction. Employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration and inclement weather, including heat and humidity. The noise level in the work environment can be loud (typical midstream/downstream work sites).
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Construction projects operate on six 10-hour days, and superintendents typically work 66 hours per week.
